One of the world’s leading fertility experts, Dr Tim Child is an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford with over 100 published research papers. He co-founded the award-winning Oxford MSc in Clinical Embryology and was appointed to the HFEA board in 2021. Tim also helped shape the NICE Fertility Guidelines and the IVF Add-Ons system. Dr Child oversees our clinical operations here at NeXYs.

Pippa Sangster is a Consultant Urologist at UCLH and leads the male infertility service. Specialising in andrology and male factor infertility, she is also a Micro-TESE expert. Pippa completed fellowships at UCLH and Guy’s Hospital, holds a Gold Medal in her Urology MSc, and a Psychology BSc. She trains medical professionals in andrology, sits on the BAUS Andrology executive committee, and has presented her work internationally.

Lyndon has over 30 years of experience in the IVF field, including six years as a Senior Embryologist and Harvard Instructor at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is experienced in preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and previously served on the Association of Clinical Embryologists Training and Examination Committee. He is passionate about making fertility treatments and information more accessible to patients.

Anne is an experienced fertility nurse with over 15 years in both NHS and private fertility clinics. She has a special interest in male fertility and patient-centred care. As Chair of the RCN Fertility Nurse Forum, she is committed to improving education, resources, and support for both fertility nurses and patients - helping men navigate their fertility journey with expert-backed guidance.

A Clinical Scientist in Andrology with 20 years of experience in healthcare science. He specialises in male fertility, sexual health, and laboratory activities including semen analysis, cryopreservation and sperm preparation. He holds a diploma in Psychosexual Medicine, frequently speaks at conferences and universities and has published extensively in the field of Andrology.

With 14 years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian, Ro founded Fertility Dietitian UK. She holds two Master’s degrees in Advanced Nutrition and Clinical Research, is a published academic author, and wrote Deliciously Healthy Fertility. Ro chairs the BDA Maternal and Fertility Nutrition Specialist Group, is the nutrition representative for the European Fertility Society, and is a member of the APPG Parliamentary and Scientific Committee.

Angela is Chair of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in fertility counselling since 2004. She co-authored BICA’s Guidelines for Good Practice in Fertility Counselling and trains fertility counsellors nationwide. Angela’s expertise spans assisted conception, donation treatment, surrogacy, and supporting patients through their fertility journey.

As one of our co-founders, Shaun knows what it's like to be a man faced with fertility challenges. Diagnosed with Azoospermia in 2018, he has since qualified as a Transformational Coach. Using the tools and strategies of coaching, as well as personal lived experience, he helps men navigate the pain and confusion of a fertility struggle.

Ciaran combines his own experience of infertility with a background in personal training to help men improve their fertility health through fitness and lifestyle changes. Specialising in exercise plans that support male reproductive health, Ciaran is passionate about giving men the tools they need to take proactive steps on their fertility journey.

After being diagnosed with male factor infertility, Frank became determined to better understand his diagnosis. He pursued further testing, which revealed a varicocele. After adopting dietary changes and taking supplements, his sperm health improved significantly. Frank and his wife eventually conceived through ICSI. Frank now openly shares his journey - including using humour to raise awareness about male infertility via stand-up gigs.

After being diagnosed with Sertoli Cell Only Syndrome in April 2024 — a condition where the testicles contain only Sertoli cells, meaning no sperm is produced — Sean and his fiancée began exploring IVF with donor sperm in the hope of starting their family. Still very much on their journey, Sean is committed to sharing his experience openly to support others facing similar challenges.

Carl was diagnosed with male factor infertility in 2024 and is currently undergoing ICSI treatment with his wife Catherine following a failed first transfer. Despite a varicocele being identified, no clear cause has been found. As a personal trainer and fitness coach, Carl is passionate about encouraging men to speak openly about their fertility health and well-being.

After navigating 4.5 years of fertility struggles, Marc now openly shares his journey to help others feel less isolated. Diagnosed with Klinefelter’s Syndrome — he faced multiple challenges, including unsuccessful treatments, a failed Micro-Tese surgery, and navigating the emotional toll of infertility. Now a proud dad via sperm donation, Marc is a true believer of the power of connection through building a strong support network.

Josh is navigating the challenges of male infertility due to having mosaicism in his genetic pattern and having a deletion of part of his Y chromosome which has still not fully been explained to him. Despite this unexpected journey, Josh and his wife are embracing donor sperm conception to be able to start a family. With resilience and optimism, he hopes to share his experience to support others facing similar struggles and to normalise conversations around infertility and alternative pathways to parenthood.

After months of trying to conceive, Rob took the initiative to get his semen analysed, and was diagnosed with high DNA fragmentation and a varicocele. He found navigating fertility treatment as a man frustrating and isolating, with limited information and support offered. Rob now openly shares his journey to highlight the need for better male fertility guidance and to encourage men to seek answers and open up.
